Frequently Asked Questions
What vaccinations are required? expand_more
We require current proof of Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, Canine Influenza, Leptospirosis, and Rabies. Your vet can email or fax vaccination records directly to your local Camp.
Do dogs need to be spayed or neutered? expand_more
Yes, all dogs over seven months of age must be spayed or neutered to attend Camp Run-A-Mutt. This helps ensure a safe and harmonious environment for all our campers.
What is the temperament test? expand_more
Every new dog must pass a brief temperament evaluation before joining our pack. This helps us ensure your dog plays well with others and is comfortable in our cage-free environment. Please Contact your local Camp to schedule an appointment.
Is there a trial day required before boarding? expand_more
Yes! After passing their temperament test, your pup must complete at least one full daycare day (minimum 6 hours) before booking overnight boarding. This helps us observe how they interact with the pack and helps them feel comfortable for sleepovers.
How do I watch my dog on Muttcams? expand_more
Once registered, you'll have access to our live Muttcam streams from any computer or mobile device. Watch your pup play, splash, and socialize in real-time throughout the day!
What should I bring for boarding? expand_more
Please bring your dog's regular food in a labeled container with feeding instructions. You may also bring their favorite blanket or toy. We provide beds, bowls, and lots of love!
What are your hours? expand_more
Hours vary by location, but most Camps are open Monday-Friday 6am-7pm and Saturday 8am-5pm. Check your local Camp's page for specific hours.
Do you offer grooming services? expand_more
Yes! Most locations offer full-service grooming including baths, haircuts, nail trims, and more. Our campers never wait in cages - they play until grooming time, get pampered, then play some more!
What makes Camp Run-A-Mutt different? expand_more
We're 100% cage-free for both daycare AND overnight boarding. Dogs play together all day in supervised packs with trained staff. Overnight campers sleep in pack-style rooms with a caring human who never leaves them. It's boarding that feels like a slumber party!
Do you offer tours? expand_more
Absolutely! We love showing off our facilities. Stop by during business hours for a tour, or schedule your temperament test to see the Camp in action.
